Hello! My name is Lydia and I run Monty’s Dogs. Monty was my childhood dog, who preferred to be walked on his own. Through volunteering with my local dog shelter since March 2021 I have met many more dogs like Monty who prefer to be walked 1 on 1 or are not suited to typical group dog walks. Here at Monty’s Dogs, we therefore specialise in 1 on 1 and single household walks, offering our services across the Llangollen area. This means your dog can have all my attention on walks and walks can be tailored to your dog's specific needs.
I have completed courses with the CIDBT in Pet Home Sitting and Dog Walking Skills and also Fundamental Skills in Dog Handling & Training as well as being insured, DBS checked and trained in canine first aid. I have experience with a large range of dogs including: greyhounds and other sighthounds; bully breeds including bully XL types; terriers; brachycephalic breeds and collies. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to giving your dog or dogs all my attention.

Some words about Lydia
Lydia has been volunteering at Almost Home Dog Rescue for a couple of years now and has adopted one of our residents. She has been a great addition to the team with her gentle nature and approach. There's yet to be a dog who she hasn't won over. She's fab with all kinds of dogs which we get through our doors from a wide range of backgrounds. We love the fact that she comes to volunteer as we know the dogs are in safe hands when Lydia is about. Personally I would 100% recommend Lydia to look after your animals, and you'd be able to know they're in safe hands!
